“Reach out of the Darkness”
A Dark Place?
Everyone pretty much can relate to that sometime in their lives. As host of “Reach out of the Darkness”, The Semi Colon Club and Edel Blumberg hope to have an open discussion about people whose lives have been affected by serious illness, injury or life altering events.
As a 2 time colon cancer survivor, and most recently a doorstep away from his 3rd bout which required a complete removal of his colon, Edel has not only “talked the talk”, he’s “walked the walk”. Our goal will be to present health initiatives to give hope, promise and information on resources for people to “Reach out of any Darkness” they may be in or have been in the past. Our radio show will air on WCBM 680 AM each Sunday from 11:00am – 12:00pm. Listeners will hear from cancer survivors, caregivers, personal trainers, doctors, audiologists, nurses just to name a few. There will be live call in opportunities to field any questions the listening audience may have.
